Intervention Specialist

Iveda Solutions is looking for reliable individuals to remotely monitor our customers’ properties. Through our state-of-the-art camera equipment you will be responsible to monitor, alert, and help in the successful prevention of unauthorized activity or assist in the capture of unauthorized people.

We are seeking individuals with great customer service skills and are Internet savvy. We need someone who is willing to burn the midnight oil. Night owls should apply.

This is NOT a telecommute position.

Our Remote Intervention Center is located in Mesa, AZ. We are looking to fill a variety of part time and full time positions.

Network Systems Engineer

Location: Mesa, AZ
Start Date: Immediate

Position Summary:

This position reports to the Director of IT. Under general supervision, this centralized position, will support Iveda Solutions in planning, implementation and managing moderately complex network systems required to maintain and/or expand service levels. This position is accountable for the operations, maintenance, compliance, and integrity of all Networks, Linux and Microsoft based systems, Web servers, VMware, and associated Data Bases.

This position may also act in a technical support role for Iveda Solutions Management team, helping support partners technologies, integrate network solutions, and identify potential partnership growth and development.

A thorough knowledge and understanding of Networking technologies as normally obtained through the completion of a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field are required.  Experience with CentOS and Debian preferred as well as a solid background with Microsoft technologies.

Knowledge and proven skills with moderately complex network technologies required. Additionally, knowledge and skills with hardware and software required for connectivity and installation operations as described above. High availability and failover technology experience is a plus.

Must possess the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Must have the ability to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, participate in rotational on-call responsibilities and respond timely in the event that services are required.

Responsibilities:

• Participation in designing, planning, implementing, and maintaining all aspects of the Network infrastructure to support systems based on Linux, VMware, and Microsoft technologies.
• Shared team responsibilities for Iveda Solutions network, storage, and server environments.
• Perform ongoing daily optimization of network and operation systems and maintain proper daily/weekly/monthly reporting and audits.
• Practice and adhere to company documentation and change policies and procedures.
• Review, develop and implement network/server security strategies.
• Review, develop and implement corporate high availability strategies.
• Provide excellent 24/7 on-call support to internal and external customers.
• Implement best practices IT standards.
• Perform on-location customer troubleshooting support when required.
• Maintain proper network and server documentation.
• Implementation and Management of DNS and DDNS technologies.
• Utilization of scripting for automation.
• Management of Web/Database systems (e.g., Apache/Mysql/PHP).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting midsize to large corporate networks.
• Effective communication (verbal and written) skills, listening and coordination skills.
• Must be able to participate in a 24x7 on call support program, and must be flexible to work after normal business hours as needs arise.
• Strong understanding of DNS technologies (DNS\DDNS).
• Knowledge of Windows 2003/8 Server and Linux platforms and software.
• Must pass a thorough security background check.
• Scripting skills (Perl\Powershell\Bash) a plus.
• Hands-On experience with Juniper, Switches, Firewalls, Network monitoring tools.
• Proven experience in HA technologies, multi-data center deployments, SSL and IPSEC VPN’s, MPLS.
• Background with highly available environments consisting of Linux, VMware, and Microsoft required.
• Background in cloud computing, MPLS networks, WAN acceleration, Global Load Balancing
• Mobile and fixed wireless networking experience desired.

Product Marketing Manager 

Location: Mesa, AZ

The Product Marketing Manager reports to the COO/CMO and will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of the Company’s products and services. This starts from the concept of a new product or service due to market demand, developing datasheets with marketing, pricing, and distribution. The new product may be from a technology partner, integrating various technologies into a product, and cloud-based video services. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing products to developing new products for the company. You will help build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with technology partners and vendors. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.

You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with engineering and IT counterparts to define product release requirements. You will work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer.

A product marketing manager's key role is both strategic and tactical.

 Responsibilities:

• Managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
• Driving a solution set across development teams (technology partners, in-house technical team, technology vendors) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.
• Develop pricing model, packaging, and coordinate with supply chain management.
• Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
• Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product.
• Responsible for providing the sales team with the necessary technical expertise to enable them to sell the product. This involves working with marketing for them to develop and produce printed and electronic promotional material, product training, and relevant technical papers.
• Responsible for reviewing product data to ensure that sales is kept up to date on new developments regarding the companies or competitors’ products.
• Assist with the development of the marketing plan (advertising, promotion and sales aids)
• Liaise with the marketing regarding product campaign including advertising, direct mail and conferences.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of product management experience.

Project Manager

Iveda Solutions Project Managers design, coordinate and deploy our hosted video projects around the globe! As the next Project Manager, you will take the reins on one of our hosted video deployments. This involves coordinating with our global sales teams for designing competitive bids with the hindsight to stay within time and budget. You will also take full coordination of organizing equipment and personnel resources internally and externally to ensure a successful deployment, while at the same time keeping associated documentation and project plans up to date. An individual who can multi-task working on various aspects of a project, while managing multiple projects will be a match for this position. This is a full-time position and based at our headquarters in Mesa, AZ, but will require periods of domestic and international travel.

 Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors.
• Purchasing equipment for customers, demos, testing, and office use.
• Tracking and keeping inventory on all equipment purchases.
• Creating Bill of Materials for quotes.

Public Relations & MARCOM Manager

Position Summary:

This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer/Chief Marketing Officer. The PR/Marcom Manager needs to be a well-rounded professional with skill sets in all aspects of public relations and marketing communications. Copy writing is a key function for this position, so if writing is not your forte, don’t apply for this position.

This person will assist in the development and implementation of the company’s marketing plan by collaborating with sales and management to develop public relations, marcom, and social media strategies that are aligned with company goals and priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively develop story pitches and generate media coverage.
• Proactively respond to media inquiries.
• Develop and leverage relationships with technology, business, and vertical trade media.
• Copywriting: Brochures, press releases, advertising, articles, website, case studies, Q&A, ads, and direct marketing materials
• Social Media/Online News Sites: Drive traffic to website using these media for regular comments, discussions, and tweets as appropriate.
• Tradeshows and Events: Identify key industry and vertical tradeshows. Coordinate participation at tradeshows and other events.
• Coordinate with marketing vendors: ad agency, printers, trade magazines, etc.

The position consists of diverse technical responsibilities that will incorporate a number of technical disciplines including, Network, Corporate and Data Center Environments, Server and Applications arenas.
